The NEW Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification
This Cisco Certification is a legendary and has become ubiquitous in its usage when it comes to Network Engineering. CCNA Routing and Switching (R&S) ws one of the most prestigious certifications in IT industry is the Cisco Certification and has been around for more than two decades.
But with February 24th, 2020, Cisco will totally phase out this certification and replacing it with a new certification. The new exam is called CCNA Enterprise having exam code 200-301 CCNA Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions. The new CCNA program is designed to prepare an IT professional for associate-level job roles in IT Networking technologies. The CCNA course now includes security fundamentals, automation, and programming of the network. This program has one certification that covers a wide range of fundamentals for network engineering careers, with one single exam and one training program to help the candidate prepare adequately as well as for the real world. These changes are aligned in the direction that technology world has been developing. Also this is in alignment with the overall development of the NETWORK and the new possibilities with regard to the programability of the network, name SDN (Software Defined Network) as well as the whole thrust of automation.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA ) training course and exam provides the trainee with the fundamentals they need to take their career in any specialization in the field of Network Engineering. The Exam includes Implementing and Administering Cisco Networking Technologies (200-301 CCNA). This exam covers a wide range of foundational topics you need for any direction you want to go: network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, and automation and programming.
CCNA Security v.3 (Cisco Certified Network Associate Security)
The CISCO Certified Network Associate Certification in Security is presented by Cisco Learning Partners specifically designed for end users and Channel Partner customers and employees. The course lays emphasis on security principles and technologies, with the use of Cisco security products thereby providing hands-on experience. This course allows learners to understand common security concepts, and deploy basic security techniques utilizing a variety of popular security appliances within a “real-life” network infrastructure, using instructor-led discussions, extensive hands-on lab exercises, and supplemental materials.
This course covers course introduction, Network Security Concepts, Secure Network Devices, Firewalls, Virtual Private Networks and other Advanced Topics.
On the successful completion of this course the students will have the knowledge and skills to secure routing and switching infrastructure and describe common network security concepts. They will be able to deploy basic authentication, authorization and accounting services, basic firewalling services and also basic site-to-site and remote access VPN services. They will be able to describe the use of more advanced security services such as intrusion protection, content security and identity management.
